Good afternoon!  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and Mother’s Day.  I had a nice day.  The kids and I relaxed most of the morning and they read some books while I read my new Nicholas Sparks book.  They were so sweet to me all day.  Later when my husband got done work we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse, yummy.  It was an awesome day to spend with the family.  How did you spend your weekend?

Strawberry Recipes

Strawberry Yogurt Pie

2 (8 ounce) containers strawberry flavored yogurt

1 (12 ounce) container frozen cool whip, thawed

1 cup strawberries, finely chopped

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Mix yogurt with 3 and 1/2 cups of cool whip. Sweeten the strawberries, if necessary. Mix in strawberries and spoon into crust. Freeze overnight, or if you can't wait try 3 hours or until firm. Top with remaining cool whip.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Shortcake

This super easy recipe is an easy and delicious twist on traditional Strawberry Shortcake.

Ingredients:

1 Box White or Yellow Cake Mix

3 Eggs

1 8 oz. Package Softened Cream Cheese

¼ cup All Purpose Flour

2 Quarts of Strawberries

¼ cup Granulated Sugar

Whipped Cream

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Wash and cut up fresh strawberries, mix in a bowl with granulated sugar and set aside
