There are some amazing moms in our Macaroni Kid Dover community! In our "Meet a Local Mom" feature, we get to know some local moms a little bit better. This is also an opportunity to find out which local causes and businesses our local community can support!
Eileen Cordero is a local mom and owner of Just Between Friends - Middletown & Dover. We love how much this business supports families and local charity. The JBF Dover Sale is happening April 6th through 8th.

~ How many children? What are their ages?
Three Children, ages 1, 4 and 5
~ Besides being a super hero (aka mommy), what else do you do?
I run a local children’s and maternity consignment event.
~ Where do you live?
Middletown, DE
~ Favorite local family activities or events?
In the summer we love to go down to the beach and visit Funland. In the winter we are always going to Dutch Winter Wonderland.
~ Greatest successes of motherhood?
For me it would be breastfeeding all three of them. I had many challenges in the beginning, but I have nursed a baby now collectively for over 50 months.
~ Greatest challenge in motherhood? How did you overcome this challenge?
I personally think the biggest challenge in motherhood is seeing your children grow. It’s hard for me to know that I won’t see them as babies anymore. I really have not overcome this but one thing that helps me is that I take a ton of videos and pictures to capture the moments so that I can look back at them.

I competed in Miss Wisconsin 2000 and won an award. In my “Before I Became a Mom” life I was a singer and sang in a few clubs in NYC. Those were the days…..

Beach any day!

I am certainly a city girl! I lived in NYC for many years. I miss it!
~ Skis or snowboard?
How about Hot coco and a warm fire!
