Where do you live?
I live outside Dover in a beautiful small community surrounded my amazing friends and neighbors. We love gathering outside for walks and playtime with our kids.
Besides being a super hero (aka mommy), what else do you do?
-My husband is in the Air Force, so I volunteer as a Key spouse. This program offers support for military spouses while their husbands are deployed.
-I love challenging myself and the people around me physically.
-I work as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the Dover YMCA, I enjoy teaching Les Mills Grit along with Barre.
-My friend Tina Franklin and I recently started MOMentum Fitness De. A fitness class where moms can gather with their children to get a full body workout and meet other moms.
-MOPS : Moms Of Preschoolers at Wyoming Methodist Church. This is such an amazing group of moms to get to know, especially being new to the area!
Favorite local family activities or events?
-I love spending time with my family and exploring this area. My favorite thing to do is go surf fishing on the beach at Cape Henlopen. (My husband and son fish, I enjoy the surf and sand.)
-My 3 year old got me a beach cruiser for Mother's Day (his idea) so now the two of us stroll the neighborhood quite a bit.
-On rainy days (well any day) we love going to the Camden Chic Fil A or Play Time Cafe.
-This past winter my son and I loved swimming at the Dover Y, it was a great way to keep up and wear out my toddler all while being incredibly pregnant.
-Fifer’s has a special place in our hearts too! We love their festivals and also their amazing produce and ice cream. Recently, they were so helpful with my groceries while I juggled my brand new baby and toddler.
Greatest successes of motherhood?
My son told me he wanted to be strong like me.
Greatest challenge in motherhood? How did you overcome this challenge?
I am terrible at playing with action figures and dolls. I overcome that by following my husband’s lead, he is awesome at this!

Beach or mountains? Beach
City or country? Country
Skis or snowboard? Neither but I like snowboard attire!
Surprise us!
Some might say I have terrible taste in music but I don't agree, my favorite all time singer is Meatloaf. I've loved his music since before I understood what it meant back in the 3rd grade.
